Why is Hideaway Hills Resort Being Built?
Hideaway Hills is being developed for the discriminating vacationing
family which enjoys the beauty and comfort of their own private log
home in the Smoky Mountains. Many families would love to own their
own private log home in the Smokies, but cost is a major obstacle.
However, renting log homes for years can be equally expensive. Hideaway
Hills provides families five unique accommodation packages that allow
them to stay in log homes from 5-20 nights per year for life.
Is Hideaway Hills Resort A Timeshare Resort?
Not like any other. Although there are many fine timeshare resorts, we at Hideaway
Hills have chosen a different direction. We have no sales staff, sales
managers, advertising or marketing. Our only advertising other than
what you are reading now is by word-of-mouth. Families visit us for
30-45 minutes to see our beautiful log homes. We have found that every
family who sees our unique way of vacationing loves it. Most families
become property owners during their first visit. Some choose to own
later. You'll find that owning at Hideaway Hills to be one of the
most cost effective enjoyable vacations you'll ever experience.
We are a private family resort. We seek to provide a retreat-like
vacation experience conducive to relaxation and traditional family
values.
How Does Your Program Work?
First, we provide deeded property which generates you equity. We
are the only resort of its kind in the state of Tennessee. Our resort
sits on nearly 20 acres of beautiful secluded property, 1.5 miles
from the Five Oaks Mall in Pigeon Forge, TN. As a property owner
here, you have complete flexibility.

Do I Have to Maintain the Property?

How Do We Pay for Our Log Home?
You may pay cash or finance the property. If we finance you, it is
"in-house". The interest rates are as follows: 10% down=14.5%,
20% down=10.5, 30% or more down=0% for 24 months. There is no pre-payment
penalty.

Can We Purchase the Entire Log Home?
Yes. We will custom build a log home for you at 100% ownership. This
may be your primary residence or you may rent your home to other vacationers.
As well, you may purchase one of our accommodation packages, then
when you are ready to retire, we can step you into your own private
log home.
Can We Stay at Hideaway Hills Resort More Than the Nights We Own?
Yes. You have access to our "Owner Days". You are welcome
to call anytime and use our log homes at a significant discount. These
rates range from $65 per night, up to $105 during holidays.
These rates stay the same on weekends and for any size cabin.
Will We Find it Difficult to Come When We Want to Come?
This is probably the most exciting aspect about our program. Our
system of availability took us 2.5 years to develop. We have literally
designed a program that allows our owners to "call today, come
tomorrow". There are two reasons why this works so well:
We do not rent our log homes to the public.
Each home is only sold at 75% occupancy. As an example, July 4th
2000, Thanksgiving, 2000, Memorial Day, 2001, and each car show
so far this year, we've had homes sitting empty! Most of our families
call 2-4 weeks out. We have about 20% who call spur-of-the-moment.
Either way, you'll be accommodated.

Can We Travel to Other Destinations by Owning at Your Resort?
Yes. The only aspect about timeshare that we felt would be of benefit
to our owners is the exchange company, Resort Condominiums International.
Although we do not function like timeshare where a family owns a "week"
out of the year, we do allow our property owners the opportunity to
travel by giving RCI seven of their nights from H.H.R., in exchange
for a week somewhere else other than the Smoky Mountains. We are a
Gold Crown resort offering the strongest exchangability through RCI.
Again, we are the only resort of its kind in Tennessee. We have the
most flexible program with the best availability anywhere.
